Eight Herbs For Making Moroccan Tea

  1. Add the ground green tea to the pot, pour in a little boiling water, then discard.

  2. Repeat: Add a little more boiling water, swirl, and discard (removes bitterness).

  3. Fill the pot fully with boiling water, then add sugar and your choice of herb(s) (e.g., fresh mint).

  4. Steep for 2–3 minutes (do not stir—let the herbs infuse naturally).

  5. Adjust sugar to taste.

  6. Pour from height into small glasses (creates foam). Serve immediately!
